Review Summary:

An overall great dishwasher that could work well in almost any home. Bosch has equipped this machine with a range of nice features that not only help to improve the washing performance, but also make it easier to use and more versatile on the inside. The price does run a bit higher than many of the other models that are on the current market, but the quality of this dishwasher certainly warrants the extra expense.

For advanced features and excellent performance, the Bosch Serie 6 SMV69M01GB dishwasher is a really good appliance. It has all of wash settings that a home could need and it is incredibly easy to use. Furthermore, this model delivers first-rate efficiency with water usage that goes as low as 6.5L per cycle and an estimated energy consumption of about 262 kilowatt hours per year.

The interior of this machine is going to more than satisfy the consumer. With a capacity that can fit up to 13 place settings and an innovative racking system, this machine can be good for all of your dishwashing needs. The machine has folding racks in both baskets, different tip up compartments and the top basket is height adjustable. Additionally, this machine has a third rack for the cutlery and this leaves more space in the bottom basket.

When you talk about features and programs, this machine scores well. The user gets a selection of six preset programs that cover everything from intensive wash and delicates to an economy setting and a quick wash. In addition to that, it has an auto program that allows the machine to manage the settings based on the size of the load and the type and degree of soiling. For additional features that can be added to the programs, you have VarioSpeed for reducing the cycle times, half load, intensive zone and extra dry.

The SMV69M01GB from Bosch provides great performance on every setting. The machine works well for deeply soiled items when you use the intensive setting, it can wash glassware on delicate and the quick wash is great for when you need the dishes done in a hurry. The only performance point that should be made is that the quick wash is not designed for washing dishes that have a significant amount of soiling and the economy wash takes a long time to run.

For a machine that has so many features and programs, the SMV69M01GB is very easy to use. It comes with push button controls and a display panel. The controls are located on the top of the door. In the middle of the panel, you have the LED display. The display has a countdown timer and indicator lights for check water, low salt and low rinse aid. On the left side of the controls, you have the buttons for the different cycles and then on the right, you have the controls for the delay timer and the different features.

This machine also scores well in regard to the build quality. From the mechanical components to the materials that it is made from, this dishwasher is made to provide years of reliable use. It also has flood protection, a stainless steel interior and it has a self-cleaning filter system.
