If your Bosch dishwasher suddenly decides to throw up an error code, don’t despair (just yet). Many people will automatically reach for the phone to get an engineer out, but numerous problems can be quickly and easily fixed without getting hit with a bill (or being without your machine for days).
If your dishwasher stops mid-cycle (or refuses to start a new program) and throws up error code E:24 this means there is some kind of blockage stopping water draining away.
The bad news is that your machine will most likely be full of grimy water which you’ll need to remove, but the good news is you can probably fix this problem yourself without too much difficulty. Most likely you’ve got some bits of debris stuck in the filters or in the pump, the latter being slightly harder work to rectify but far from impossible.
Rather than go into too much detail here we recommend checking out the Bosch video below as well as this article for more detailed instructions of what to do when your Bosch dishwasher is not draining.
Good luck and please leave any comments you might have that might help others solve the same problem.
