Review Summary:

The Miele G4203SCi has a lot to offer for buyers that want a machine that is made to last. It is a well made appliance, and it is exceptionally easy to use. In addition to that, it comes with features that help to provide this machine with great performance. For build quality, performance and convenience, this model scores well, and it offers a good value when you consider the quality of its construction.

As a dishwasher with a semi-integrated design, the Miele G4203SCi offers a lot for performance and convenience. It delivers on the quality of construction that the Miele brand is known for, and it comes with some nice features. Further, this appliance offers good efficiency with an estimated annual energy consumption of 299 kilowatt hours per year.

The G4203SCi has a maximum capacity of 14 place settings, and it comes with interior racks that are designed to offer options. The two main baskets have folding racks and tines for fitting a variety of different items. For cutlery, the user gets a third level cutlery tray, which makes for more space in the other two racks. In addition to that, you have a top basket that can be adjusted to three different positions, and you can even adjust the two sides independently.

The program options on this Miele integrated appliance work well for just about every home. For normal and gentle washing, this machine has the automatic setting. With this, the machine uses different sensors to provide optimal cleaning and efficiency. In addition to that, you also have an energy saving eco wash and settings for light soiling and intensive. The addition of a quick wash cycle would be nice, but this machine does have all of the cycles that you need and it gets good results.

For selectable features, the user does not get a ton of options with this machine. The sensor washing certainly is a highlight, but with no quick wash or half load, some buyers might feel like the options are bit limited. That said, you do get a turbo feature for cutting cycle times and it has a delay start timer.

Compared to many of the integrated models that are out there, this machine does very well in regard to ease of use. Some of this good ease of use has to do with the semi-integrated design, but the controls are also easy to understand and use. With the semi-integrated design, the controls are still accessible on the front of the machine. With models that are fully integrated, you have to open the door to access the controls or to check the display.

For the controls, the set up is simple. The machine has a single button for cycling through the five program options. After that, you can choose to enable the time saver feature or set the delay start timer. The G4203SCi also has a countdown timer on the control panel and indicators to let you know when it is time to refill the salt and rinse aid.
